Scam of the Century (Dallas Tx)

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

They approached me and I did two interviews with them for a Client they had. They said I did so well that their client only wanted me and that I had the job.

They also said they needed about one business day to negotiate the terms. During that time they checked my references then tried to get business to fill the role I had with my current employer at the time. They then totally ghosted me and I had to chase them around only for them to tell me two weeks later that I didn’t get the job after I had already left my employer.

They write fake 5 star reviews on sites, there are very many complaints like mine, including others where they don’t pay for overtime. They need to be shut down and stopped.

Four calls today alone. Find yourself one of these smartphone apps to block calls.

I've been blocking by area code, especially since I don't know anyone in Michigan or most the other places I'm being called by. I need a better job, but you folks obviously have too much of an agenda.

Insifht Global Arlington Virginia

Stay away from them!

They are scammers. I swear to God.

My recruiter was Sarah Spang. The manager Molly. She is acting all the time that she is nice but she was lying to me. The same story happened with me: they told me that the damn contract is for 6 months but I swear I didn't even work 1 hour. They sent me to a company called Direct Line. This is another scam. I lost my side job because of them. I am now in the living *** They don't know anything about honesty. STAY AWAAAAAY!

may God get revenge for me from Insight Global.

Outright Lying

Received a cold call from Insight saying I posted my resume online and they had a "client" very interested in me.

First, I retired 4 years ago after 36 years with the same company. Second, I never posted my resume online or used a head hunter in my entire working career.

So I decided to string this guy along... I asked him if he had my resume? He said yes so I asked him to read off my work history just to make sure it was still valid. No dates just the company names t make it easy for him.

Then he started getting vague saying he only had a listing of my resume not the actual body of it. He said I could email it to him so he could forward it to the interested company to speed things up.

I said to him... do you know how old I am? Silence on his part... I said I'm 64 and retired 4 years ago. I don't have a resume or every posted one on line so you are B**S*** artist.

He hung up on me.

Deceptive - Want Your Information

Like many commenting here have stated, obtaining your managerial level references is a main objective. They then send your contacts LinkedIn invitations to grow their network.

Contacted one person and I did not even provide their contact information, so meeting a quota. Never heard back from the original girl, and the position they mentioned to me was not an open position as I know people in that company. Sometime later received another call from them but this time a different person with a different fake job. Did not call them back as it's a waste of time.

Again, another young person just out of college. I'm sure they sell your information as soon after I provided my information to the first person, I started getting many emails from different placement groups.

Looked up some of the names on the emails and could not find them online, so click-bait it seems. Overall a scam for your information.

Insight Global should be investigated and then shut down if all these allegations are true. I just had a brush with them and I can say they are very deceptive and seem to not care at all about their level of deceit.

It is simply how they conduct business. It is systemic in the organization.

They seem like psychopaths. How can someone blatantly lie all day every day and not be a psychopath?

Everything you wrote is correct. Former and current recruiters have admitted to this practice on the internet, on various sites, many, many times. This is also the standard practice at a lot of other staffing agencies.

Unprofessional and untrustworthy. They are not here to help you!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I received a call from a recruiter of Insight global after posting my resume to various places on the web, indicating that I was looking for new work. The recruiter seemed very friendly and told me that she had reviewed my resume and thought that my qualifications were a great match for a position that had just posted. She asked me a few questions and said that she wanted to do a quick skype interview the next morning, at which time she was going to present me with a short technical screening that the employer had requested.

Great, I was all set up, or so I thought. 15 minutes later... I get a call again from Insight Global, but this time from the recruiters manager. She was not polite at all, and very demanding. She DEMANDED (literally) that I explain to her why I thought I was a good fit for this position. Keep in mind THEY called ME about this job. So now I am expected to defend myself for a position I didn't even apply for. I told her the same things I told the initial recruiter, after which she said she needed to give me the technical screening. At this point I told her no, I was at work, and that I had already scheduled to do that screening during the skype call. She then said that I was required to submit 2 professional references, which HAD TO BE my current and previous managers. I flat out told them they were not getting this information, I was not letting my current management know that I was looking for a new job, that make no sense and I have no idea who would agree to this. The manager became upset with me and I had to end the call because it was becoming very unproductive.

After this unprofessional ordeal, I did follow up with the original recruiter the next morning to do the scheduled face to face and technical screening. I went through all the motions and answered all of their technical question to their satisfaction, at which time the recruiter was again very excited and stated that I was a great candidate for this position. Afterwards, the recruiter brought the same rude manger from the previous day into the call. Her face clearly demonstrating dissatisfaction, she reluctantly said "we are prepared to submit you as a candidate". Funny how the "requirement" for my previous managers contact information suddenly wasn't a requirement at all. She asked me about salary requirements, which I gave to her and she AGREED to. She advised that I would have to fill out a non compete contract, which I agreed to.

After the call was over, the recruiter forwarded the non compete contract to me. After reviewing it I noticed that it hadn't been filled out at all. There were just blank spaces where the contracting company (Insight Global), job position # and title, and candidate name were supposed to be pre form filled.

I responded to the e-mail asking if they could send me a corrected form, and that was it. They never responded. I sent another follow up e-mail and called. Nothing.

I write this situation off and weeks go by. All of the sudden I get a phone call from a completely different Insight recruiter telling me she found my resume and that I would be a great fit for a position. Half way into her description of the position, I stopped and asked her if it was for "x" company and she stopped almost shocked and said yes. I told her someone else from Insight Global had contacted me weeks back and that I had already done their pre screening, and that they just stopped responding to me.

After telling the new recruiter all of this, she looked and found my profile in their system but couldn't explain what happened. She put me on hold and low and behold, 5 minutes later the same rude manager got back on the phone to talk to me. She explained that it was a "miscommunication", but didn't go into any greater detail than that. I am honestly not sure how a "miscommunication" leads to a total communications black out, but I guess that just goes hand in hand at how unprofessional this company is.

Despite all of this issues I have had up to this point, the manager advises that she will submit me (again) and I agree. Just to make sure, I asked her to clarify the details of our last conversation, particularly the salary. I am glad I did, because (somehow) it was significantly lower than what we had agreed on previously. I told her that was unacceptable and that she needed to submit me with the amount we had previously AGREED on. She acted as though I was being unreasonable but said that "she would see what she could do".

This time they send me a correctly filled out form, which I sign and send back to them. Then I get another call asking me to be more specific on my resume and provide them additional detail. Keep in mind, this is AFTER they have already submitted me to this job, twice. You would think as a recruiter that by now you would have asked me for all of the information you needed.

At this point, I was done with them. The job was a contract to hire position, with the contracting being done with Insight Global, and there is no way I am going to let a disorganized company like that sign my pay checks, nor do I believe a word they say.

Stay far away from this company and look for direct hire opportunities, they are not here to help you, they just want to make some money at your expense. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.

I have only been employed with them for 11 weeks as a contractor. I have a 100% traveling job.

Of those 11 weeks they have forgotten to add my per deim to my check 4 times, making it hard to get a hotel.

Paid me for overtime, then took it back and paid me at my regular rate, making it 2 weeks in a row of 48 hours straight time and no overtime pay. And their excuse is always "it will be fixed on the next paycheck".

Dani O'Brien of Philadelphia PA DO BETTER as an account Mana

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Yesterday I went out to an interview with Insight Global their client was Penn Medicine one of the biggest hospitals in the Pennsylvania area. First of all I was 45 minutes late due to the fact that SEPTA Transportation Center neglected to inform many people that there had been a derailment so the schedule that I looked at said that my train would get there at 11:30 instead it got there at 12:09 I didn't arrive into Philadelphia not until 12:57 p.m.

so I should have rescheduled the interview all around but I decided to just keep going anyway it was very hot outside it was over a hundred degrees it was extremely humid and I have asthma so I wasn't feeling my greatest I had to walk a ways because Danny was trying to help me get to the building by the time I got there I'm hot sweaty but it didn't stop me some presenting myself professionally. Miss O'Brien begin chastising me the minute that she saw me she was telling me how to wear my jewelry to the interview she came off as a very young insecure high school student looking me up and down looking very disgusted in the face at this point I'm doing my best to smile but I felt very uncomfortable and very overwhelmed and discuss it because of the way I was being treated by Miss O'Brien I really couldn't function in the interview in front of the client because Miz O'Brien's whole demeanor was extremely shady I felt very embarrassed and I think that the owner of this company needs to know about Ms O'Brien I need a way to get in touch with him or her she doesn't deserve to be an account manager at all she was supposed to call me back today so that we can fix this issue she has not so there for I'm going to go hard she's going to know not to ever do that to nobody else ever again I felt very small when I left there my head was down and I don't feel down too often I'm a very giddy person very confident person Miss O'Brien is a young girl and she needs to work on her character in this business I have a very good reputation I'm hardly ever late to anything and I do not plan to have a bad reputation now because they want to say I was 45 minutes late over a Septa misunderstanding. Miss O'Brien i can take this to another level but im not. You stop assuming everyone is a bad person when you meet them and i saw you when you gave the client Penn Medicine the cutthroat signal i caught you.

You need to be fired. Because your not passionate at all maam.

Bottom of the Barrel

I wish I had found this site first because I'm guessing that many of the positive reviews on Glassdoor must be professionally written. I can confirm that many of the so-called recruiters at InsightGlobal sound very young and inexperienced.

Often they have no clue what the jobs are or any of the job content and are just going down a checklist and ask generic questions and providing generic responses. I don't know how they can claim to represent candidates to clients so that they can have any confidence. They aren't even really all that good at sales practices either. I'm guessing they must have thrown all these college grad kids in a quick boot camp sales training seminar and then put them in a sales pit.

Sad.

I would definitely steer clear of them. Their incompetence is astounding.

It will likely be a waste of your time. You won't feel valued as a human being at all.

No sh|t. Talked with Miss Bunny today, who yapped 300 words per second, quizzing me about all manner of things.

When I was vague, she'd supply an answer for me. Then she had me listen to her "manager", Miss Bananatitties yap some more. The silly bunts then sent email instructing that: "We also like to have that candidate come to our office for a brief introductory meeting, no more than 15 minutes. This ensures overall professionalism before we put them in front of a client." I wrote back to that *** "My resume very clearly reflects my history and skills.

There is no need for a 15 minute meeting to "ensure overall professionalism". This clowns think that working people have nothing better to do than appease the silly whims of the clown recruiters who are one step below used car sales.

Her request is basaed on the fact recruiters have a wekly quota of people they must interview in person, whether they have any intention of placing them or not.

No Communication

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

First off this is my second go around with Insight Global. I have been represented by Insight Global twice however this was to be the first contract I would sign with them.

I was offered a position which I gladly excepted. All paperwork was well underway and I was communicating with my representative when all emails apparently stopped. After several attempts and several calls and messages went unanswered I tried 1 personal cell number only to find out the person quit and I was never informed. 3 days later received a call from the hiring manager stating she would be the only person I would be dealing with.

the very next day I receive a call from another representative stating "I am you new point of contact". Ok, exactly what I didn't want to happen. At this point I am trying to ascertain the start date and I was told this Monday. The week leading to that Monday I leave several emails and voicemails attemempting to narrow down a start time.

Finally at 4:45 pm on Friday I am being told "due to a law suit at the firm all hiring of outside contractors has been frozen, sorry". I feel that the lack of communication and respect for the people they represent needs a lot of work.

IG recruiters are generally fresh from college grads. I wouldn't set my expectations too high. If you read the glassdoor reviews from the recruiters themselves, most don't seem to have any recruiting experience at all.

Euna Enk

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

These are the biggest snakes in the grass, tell you anything to keep the carrot dangling in front of you!! I delt with some clown by the name of Andrew Garth.

I honestly wish i could meet him face to face he needs a taste of street justice. The only positive experience i had dealing with them was walking off the job and just walking away from the I.T. field. Its people like him and companies like insight that have ruined that field!!!!!!!!!!

Never any follow ups, the lowest and I mean lowest low balling false promising bunch of jacks wads I have ever came across. There very brave and condescending over the phone.

I would love to see any of them walk in my shoes for 2 minutes. Good luck you bunch of crooks what goes around comes around

Appalled at the unprofessionalism. I got made fun of?!?

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I am very very disappointed with my interview for a recruiter position at Insight Global. I am a recent college grad having trouble finding a DECENT job/place to work, so when I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn I jumped with joy for the opportunity.

Then I looked into them.... I still decided to do the interview, because practice is practice is practice but I definitely knew I didn’t want to work there. Basically, it’s a mindless job that requires no skills or talents and they PREY on recent grads who are the ones eager and willing to take anything, even if that means sitting at desk harassing people and recruiting people who are not fit for a job just to hit ‘numbers.’ During my interview, I met with two account Managers. The first was a girl, and she was the typical ‘I was in the top sorority back in college’ type of gal.

So that already annoyed me as she seemed ditzy and overly (fakely) excited to talk to me. So once I was done talking to her (mindless chatter, no talk about your qualities) I was met by another AM who was even worse than the girl. This Frat star came bursting through the doors, in an expensive *** suit that looked like he could barely afford It with gelled back Hair and a HUGE gold watch on his wrist. And even worse, he only talked about how much money you can make....

he talked about how the previous AM was making ‘gross amounts of money at such a young age’ and how he was striving to be like him. He did not care about the people he hired or his clients needs, he just cared about buying more ridiculously expensive suits. Not once did he bring how the company benefits others, how they help people out of work, blah blah, he only talked about himself and money. Gross.

Terrible human. And all he wanted me to do was keep asking questions!!! He was seeing if I could keep the conversation going with mindless chatter. (I guess I could bc then he said he wanted to me meet everyone in the office and see where and how they worked.

I agreed. Now this is where i go from “eh not for me” to “wow these are terrible money hungry individuals and I hate them.” We walk in and It is how you except a frat house to be. Everyone inside is super attractive and YOUNG (like 22-25 max) and they know It. You can practically see the guys egos pouring out of their ears when they stand up and the girls are prissy and are 100% judging you (especially if you’re a girl, like me).

Everyone had to stand up out of their seat yell my name and then line up to meet me. So now there’s this line of 30+ egocentric individuals all faking being interested in meeting you and It is super uncomfortable. So about half way through my line one girl looks at me and goes “nice to meet you gabriel....” I’m a girl and considering How they just yelled my name, they KNOW my name is not Gabriel and It is clearly a code word for something. So once she calls me Gabriel, EVERYONE after her starts calling me Gabriel, laughing, and walking back to their desk.....

then the AM (the girl who I met initially during my interview) at the end of the line goes “just ignore them, they are being ***”..... Like first, you are going to let your staff openly make fun of a potential employee and then tell me to just brush It off??? What the *** does Gabriel mean? Were They making fun of me, is a code word for ugly Or ‘we don’t like her’ or what???

What kind of ‘professional’ environment pokes fun of an interviewee?? I was extremely taken back by the comments and It definitely hurt my confidence as I had no idea why they started to do that. Anyways, It was a horrible experience and I not only got made fun of by 15+ 23year olds calling me a code word, but I.T was a disgusting money Hungry environment.

Being driven is one thing, but Working to JUST make money and desregsrding the actual duties of that company is another. They were all disgusting human beings who leeches off others, to bring no benefits to anyone but themselves by openly calling over 100 jobless Americans a day for a job you found for them that is a ‘perfect fit’ only to hit your quota in calls and never contacting them again is vile.

The way you told that story seems like you'd have fit right in.Entitlement is unprofessional, as well. You think you're better than everyone, in the story.I wasn't there, so I'm a third party. This entire story is all about you faking an interview for practice, and how you were wasting everyone's time, as it is. How do you not see the same unprofessional behavior you're pulling, and expect perfection from a job that wasn't up to YOUR liking. If they were making fun of you, and Gabriel means something bad, I'm proud. You're a mean person.

What a SCAM A waste of time and resources

They claimed they were hiring for Hewlett Packard, I got hired, Hewlett Packard could not train me, because I was not a Hewlett Packard employee, Insight Global offers me Health insurance for me and my family for 800 a month, I was not entitled to any HP Benefits, They had me singing paper work for weeks collecting sensitive data, copies of my license, my passport, a drug test, If you are looking for a job and you see Insight Global LLC in Boca Raton FL, Ask them about your Health Benefits and you will see. This is the biggest waste of time on the planet.

They hire through Indeed.com , they seem like they are on the level, think again, before you go out and get a phone contract for your new job, before you waste time filling out contracts, before you waste your gas, before you turn down other job offers, ask about their health benefits. This company needs to be government regulated,
